<video:title><![CDATA[NAB 2025 Preview: GigE cameras for entertainment & volumetric capture +flexible capture / storage]]></video:title>
<video:description><![CDATA[Emergent Vision Technologies has a lot in store for NAB 2025. We're featuring three incredible demos, and we'll have our full roster of high-speed, high-resolution GigE cameras on display.

Putting the viewer inside the experience is what our Zenith 100GigE cameras are about. We'll be showing off the power of pixels for immersive content and advertising: a 65-megapixel camera operating at up to 71 frames per second, equipped with a super wide angle fisheye lens. This is a camera for content creation on the scale of a certain new Las Vegas landmark.

Volumetric capture technology comes built into our eCapture Pro software so you can combine dozens of cameras. This demo has a 36-camera array to capture every detail from every angle. Step inside a virtual space environment that combines with Meta's Quest VR technology. Our volumetric capture technology for VR and AR won 2024 NAB Product of the Year. Multi-camera systems from Emergent are a powerful tool for creating new entertainment experiences.

Our FlexProc and FlexTrans technologies won the 2024 NAB Product of the Year for answering this question. See how eight BOLT 25GigE cameras are configured to work together. FlexProc helps you define which node in your system does the heavy lifting, including GPU direct processing. Layer on your own custom CPU, GPU, or FPGA plugins, or build your own. FlexTrans helps you manage and move the imaging data between nodes in your system, with the highest performance and lowest latency possible. Featuring zero-copy and GPU direct support. Using FlexTrans, every image is where you want it to be.]]></video:description>

<video:description><![CDATA[And all of this in the video is done on a single mid-range server with only 1 GPU. eCapture Pro is a UI based software allowing customers to fully integrate Emergent award winning cameras which have speeds of 5GigE, 10GigE, 25GigE, and 100GigE. The software is often used for large scale recording systems involving multiple servers, switches, storage, etc. Up until now, the software has been limited to recording camera data to storage in a very high performance manner for the purposes of post-3D reconstruction for Volumetric Video applications. Emergent has developed and added to its award winning eCapture Pro software the ability to generate real time Volumetric Video so one can be immediately immersed in the event or subject being filmed. Imagine being in another city with VR goggles such as the Meta Quest 3 and being able to navigate anywhere in the 3D space we provide. Imagine flying around the space using the Quest 3 controllers which control speed and direction. Imagine, as flying around, one simply turns ones head to look in any direction. Or, by all means, find a comfortable view and enjoy the show from that unique perspective.

Volumetric video is being done using slow technologies like Nerf and Gaussian Splats for example. Emergent has developed proprietary algorithms for performing these tasks in real time. The processing is currently being done on a single RTXA6000 NVidia GPU. The space we are reconstructing in the demo is all within a 3ft diameter, 7ft height cylinder for full human recontruction with high quality. The whole system is comprised of 36 12MP cameras running at 30fps and all images are transferred directly to the GPU via GPU Direct and the Volumetric Video is created there and is passed to the desired display resources. We have full flexibility to expand the space and quality as needed and we can leveage the Emergent FlexTrans and FlexProc technology as needed. AND NO GREEN SCREEN NEEDED!

FlexProc is a technology which allows one to process image data and results on any processing node in the system - on CPUs in the servers, on GPUs in the servers and even on the cloud. The technology includes a customizable framework for generating custom processing plug-ins.

FlexTrans is more than just the ability to move content from one processing node to any other node in the system. It is also about doing this with the highest performance and lowest latency that is possible. This means using GPU DIrect and Zero Copy methods developed by Emergent. GPU Direct is a method to do direct copies and transfers between GPU memory and the network. We can seemlessly transfer high performance data between a GPU in one server to a GPU in another server. The performance aspect is quite important here as a system that does not utiize these performance methods can take up to 3x the resources which translates into 3x the cost. <video:description><![CDATA[Machine vision and imaging systems today are more capable than ever before, helping disparate industries across the globe enhance efficiency and drive productivity gains. Whether high-speed packaging applications that require faster frame rates or aerial imaging applications where high-resolution or even SWIR cameras are needed, the technologies that comprise modern machine vision systems continually advance to meet the growing and evolving needs of customers.

System needs vary greatly from application to application, so while a high-speed camera may suit one application, multiple lower-speed cameras on a single server may suit another. This presentation looks at Emergent Vision Technologies’ high-speed ecosystem of machine vision cameras and components. This technology includes 5GigE cameras, 10GigE cameras, 25GigE cameras, 100GigE cameras, comprehensive software, and network interface cards to support any speed, any resolution, any cable length, any sensor, and any application.

The presentation covers the various technologies offered, leveraged, or supported by Emergent, which include area scan cameras, line scan cameras, CMOS sensors from Sony and GPixel, SWIR cameras leveraging Sony SenSWIR sensors, NVIDIA GPUDirect technology, zero-copy imaging, multi-camera turnkey imaging systems, multiplexing, multicasting, and IEEE 1588 PTP synchronization. In addition, the presentation takes a deep dive into the UDP-based GigE Vision Stream Protocol (GVSP) and how it compares to remote direct memory access (RDMA), RDMA over Converged Ethernet (RoCE), and transmission control protocol (TCP).

<video:title><![CDATA[Webinar: Demonstrations Show the Power of 5GigE to 100GigE Vision Technologies]]></video:title>
<video:description><![CDATA[GigE Vision cameras and technologies are among the most popular and versatile in the machine vision and imaging world today, offering several different options, from 1GigE to 100GigE, to suit a vast range of applications. While the GigE Vision cameras and components offered by Emergent Vision Technologies can deliver zero-data-loss imaging at the industry’s top speeds, end users require a means for handling all the high-speed data the cameras output.

This presentation provides a thorough look into the latest capabilities of Emergent’s award-winning eCapture Pro software. <video:title><![CDATA[GigE Vision Cameras Support Any Speed, Any Resolution, Any Cable Length, Any Sensor, Any Application]]></video:title>
